Rental Agreement

1. Parties

This Rental Agreement (“Agreement”) is between APP TEC CAR RENTALS LTD (Reg. No. HE 493616), trading as AppTec Car Rentals (“Lessor”), and the person named on the booking confirmation (“Renter”). A signed copy is provided at vehicle pickup.

2. Vehicle & rental period

The Lessor agrees to rent the vehicle described in the booking confirmation for the agreed pickup and return dates and times. Late return may incur extra daily charges plus a late fee of €50 per hour (max €200 per day).

3. Renter obligations

  • Return the vehicle in the same condition as received, fair wear excepted
  • Return with the same fuel level (full-to-full policy) or pay refuelling at market rate plus €25 service fee
  • Report accidents, theft, or breakdown immediately to +357 94 498 088 and the police where required
  • Not sublet, sell, or tamper with the vehicle or its equipment
  • Ensure all drivers are authorised and meet eligibility requirements

4. Fees & payment

  • Daily rental rate as confirmed in EUR
  • Security deposit pre-authorisation: €250 (standard), €300 (premium), €400 (luxury)
  • Extras: additional drivers (€10/day), child seats (€8/day), cross-border permit (€35), young driver surcharge (€15/day under 25)

5. Insurance & liability

Basic third-party liability is included. CDW/LDW, if purchased, limits Renter liability for damage or theft to the excess stated on the rental document. Renter remains fully liable for damage caused by prohibited use, driving under influence, unlisted drivers, or negligence. Tyres, windscreen, and undercarriage are excluded unless a protection package is purchased.

6. Accidents & damage

In case of accident: do not admit fault; obtain police report where required; photograph damage; contact support@appteccarrentals.com within 24 hours. Renter is liable for loss of use charges while the vehicle is repaired (up to 10 days).

7. Termination

The Lessor may terminate the rental and repossess the vehicle if the Renter breaches this Agreement, without refund. Renter may terminate early subject to our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

8. Governing law

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the Republic of Cyprus. Disputes are subject to the courts of Cyprus.

9. Acceptance

By signing at pickup or by submitting a booking online, the Renter confirms they have read and accept this Agreement, our Terms & Conditions, and Privacy Policy.
